Description
PERSEO PROFILE and PERSEO BEAM are the first compact multi-function luminaires with an IP65 enclosure rating developed by Ayrton for intensive outdoor use. Equipped with a new 500 W ultra-compact monochromatic LED source, these fixtures can deliver metallic white light with an output of 30,000 and 18,000 lumens respectively.
Ayrton has specifically developed the optics in PERSEO PROFILE to achieve an optimal resolution-to-performance-to-efficiency ratio. They allow perfect image reproduction and significant improvement from distortion caused by the shutter blades with wide zoom. The optics produce a highly uniform flat beam with no hot spot, achieving a perfect colour mix regardless of the colour combination selected. Fitted with a 148mm frontal lens, this proprietary system has 13 lenses, delivering an 8:1 zoom ratio and a zoom range of 7° to 58°.
PERSEO BEAM is endowed with unprecedented graphic capability, offering a wide choice of 48 fixed and rotating gobos distributed on two wheels, including 28 glass gobos for the projection of high-definition images and 20 metal gobos specifically created to sculpt light in “beam” mode. These gobos can be blended with four individually combinable rotating prisms that allow you to produce a multitude of volumetric lighting effects. An RGB/CMY multi-layer gobo lets you generate dynamic multicolour effects. An effect-wheel with continuous rotation in both directions and two frost filters complete the PERSEO BEAM tool palette. Continuous rotation of the pan movement multiplies the possibilities for creating complex effects.
Ayrton has created these next generation luminaires with a new minimalist design in lighter weight die-cast aluminium, incorporating full weather-proofing features that ensure easy accessibility. For greater efficiency, these fixtures employ a highly effective phase-change liquid cooling system fitted with six submersible fans located outside the watertight enclosure.
